Veterans Museum to Host Vietnam Discussion

Muskegon County – The USS LST 393 Veterans Museum is hosting a hearty discussion and exploration tonight on the US experience in Vietnam (1947-1975). The discussion will take place from 6:00-7:30pm,

Topics will include Prelude-French Indo-China, 1954 United Nations Partition, Domino Theory, US Nation Building and the 1964 Tonkin Gulf Resolution (1947-1964). Kurt Troutman and George Maniates will present a historical analysis of why the US entered Vietnam.
