Seventh Annual Egelston Wolf Lake Festival underway
Egelston Township – The Egelston Wolf Lake Festival is happening at Beal’s and Flickema Park, featuring a pancake breakfast, 5K run, car show, arts and crafts fair, food vendors, children’s activities, live music and a parade on today. The festival started Thursday July 7 and will run through July 10.
Today events begin with the Egelston 5K run or walk at 8:00 a.m. and a fishing tournament on Wolf Lake.
Beal’s Park, activities include arts and crafts from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., family events and outdoor contests from noon to 3:00 p.m., in addition there will be kids games from11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and a waterslide from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Flickema Park, events include a horseshoe tournament, a softball tournament, beer tent from 5:00 p.m. to midnight and live music from 8:00pm to 11:30 p.m. by rock party dance music group Oregon Dream Child.
The festivities end on Sunday, July 10 with a worship service starting at 10:00 a.m. at Beal’s Park.
