Public Health – Muskegon County has received a report of a sanitary sewer overflow that
occurred on October 20 near the intersection of Water and Dowling streets in the City of
Montague. As a precaution, residents and visitors are advised to avoid direct contact with
the natural drain at the east end of Church Street and the water at White Lake near
Ellenwood Landing Marina for the next 48 hours.
