MUSKEGON HEIGHTS – On Oct. 26, the Muskegon Heights branch of the Muskegon Area District Library (MADL) will host a creative writing workshop for area teens.

This workshop, which is designed for middle and high schoolers, will let participants share ideas for short stories while also preparing them for the Big Read Short Story Contest. Activity assistants will also give out story prompts to help those involved gain some inspiration.
This creative writing workshop is part of the the annual Big Read Lakeshore Initiative, a fall program that gets community members involved in literacy activities.
This free workshop will take place at the Muskegon Heights library at 2808 Sanford St. from 3:35 to 4:45 PM.
