Muskegon – Frauenthal and RJN Comedy are set to host the Laughter on the Lakeshore event on
September 25. The event will take place at the Beardsley Theater at 7:30 p.m and will feature
the comedians Bob Phillips and Sal Demilio.

Phillips himself is a seasoned comedian with more than twenty years of stand-up experience.
Known for his razor sharp wit and his down-to-earth observations, he has been a mainstay on
SiriusXM Comedy channels.

Notorious for his well-dressed appearance and confident stage persona, Phillips brings a
seemingly effortless flow with his jokes and has some impressive career bona fides to boot.
With three full-length albums under his belt, as well as an Open Bar Comedy Special, the
expectations for the show are understandably high. Phillips has worked with many staples of the
modern comedy community including Nikki Glaser, Gary Gulman, Roy Wood Jr., Tom Arnold
and Louis Black.

As far as the show itself goes, Phillips was quick to point out that positive energy surrounds the
performers and their collaborations.

“I’m really looking forward to performing at the Beardsley Theater on September 25 with my
good friends Sal Demilio and Ricarlo Williams,” Phillips said.

While highlighting his past experiences in the city, Phillips also took a moment to recollect the
fact that Michigan is a preferred destination amongst comics everywhere.

“I love and have spent a lot of time in Muskegon as a kid, and it’ll be great to be back in my
home state after being on the road,” he said. “Michigan is known among comics to be one of the
friendliest states to play.”

For his own part, Michigan’s own Sal Demilio will bring his trademark relatable takes on a
variety of subjects including Italian culture and everyday life on stage. Demilio is also a SiriusXM
mainstay and boasts appearances on The Bob & Tom Show.
