Muskegon County – Muskegon Community College offers free planetarium shows at their Carr-Fles Planetarium in room 1070, on their main campus at 221 Quarterline Rd for members of the community every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM. No reservations are needed, just visit the planetarium on the day and time the presentation happens. Their current program is ‘Edge of Darkness’ an immersive tour of the farthest edges of our Solar System complete with up-to-date information from recent missions to Pluto and beyond. All shows are 30 minutes in duration and are appropriate for children ages 6 and above.
Each presentation begins with a look at the current night sky and a discussion about what celestial bodies are visible during that evening.
