Jocelyn Benson Set to Visit Muskegon for Canvass Launch

By Joseph Poulos

Starting on Oct. 23, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will embark on her “Driving
Down Costs” bus tour across the state to promote her economic platform.

The trip will take her from Grand Rapids to Flint, where she will stop at small businesses,
canvass launches and crowd events with Rep. Carol Glanville, Joseph McClusky and Rebecca
Amidon.

Benson will continue her campaign across Michigan in an effort to shore up support for her
gubernatorial campaign. According to a press release from her campaign team, Benson will
focus on her goals for Michiganders:

“At each stop, Jocelyn will draw a clear contrast: she will be a governor who fights to drive down
costs, while John James puts politics and Trump’s failing policies, including the ‘John James
Tax’ hikes, over Michiganders.”

The campaign stops across Michigan for Friday, Oct. 23 are as follows:
● Grand Rapids with Carol Glanville – 9:30 a.m.
● Holland with Joseph McClusky – 11:15 a.m.
● Muskegon with Rebecca Amidon – 12:45 p.m.
● St. Johns with Winnie Brinks – 3:30 p.m.
● Flint with Winnie Brinks and Kristen McDonald Rivet – 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The event in Muskegon will be a canvass launch, in which Benson will help energize the
campaign workers before they head out into the city to speak more about her platform.
