MUSKEGON HEIGHTS – On Oct. 26, the Muskegon Heights branch of the Muskegon Area District Library (MADL) will host a creative writing workshop for area teens.

This workshop, designed for middle and high schoolers, will let participants share short-story ideas while also preparing them for the Big Read Short Story Contest. Activity assistants will also hand out story prompts to help participants find inspiration.
This creative writing workshop is part of the annual Big Read Lakeshore Initiative, a fall program that gets community members involved in literacy activities.
This free workshop will take place at the Muskegon Heights Library, 2808 Sanford St., from 3:35 to 4:45 PM.
