Fruitport – The Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce (WDCC) is setting a $18,600 net goal for its 17th annual
Trinkets & Treasures fundraiser event to be held September 25-27, 2026 in the former American Eagle
Outfitters Store at The Lakes Mall in Fruitport Township.
The indoor yard sale will feature thousands of “donated” new, gently used, clean, sellable, vintage and
collectible items that range from apparel, accessories and shoes, to home décor items, housewares, books
and more. “We convert the space into a “store” environment with departments, which are categorized,
organized, and sized for ease of shopping.”
The event is free to the public, and gives shoppers an opportunity to purchase clothing, household items,
books, toys and more at a very low cost. Customers can shop an Early Bird Special Sale from 9 to 11 a.m.
on September 25 for a $5 donation. Otherwise, the sale will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. September 25
and September 26, and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on September 27.
It’s the WDCC’s only annual fundraiser that benefits “select” individual non-profits in Muskegon County. This
year proceeds will benefit: Big Lake Humane Society and Community Animal Clinic, Fresh Coast Alliance,
and Step Up.
